Fingers of Fury begun as a Middle Eastern drumming ensemble in 2003. Later because I liked the name so much I used it as the title for an Arabic percussion study book that I wrote. More recently Fingers of Fury has become the name of a new Arabic percussion tutorial website that will be going 'live' in April 08. Who knows, maybe one day there will be a Fingers of Fury aftershave...helps you play faster and live longer!

I'm a percussionist based in Melbourne, Australia. I play in the supercharged eastern surf band
'The Reefers' and feature as a guest musician with many bands and on a wide variety of recordings. More recently I toured with the belly dance group 'Solace' from San Francisco and performed with the renowned Rumi translator and poet 'Coleman Barks.' I have performed with gypsy bands such as Black Train, Zarafa and Babaganoush and with Balkan DJ's Dunkelbunt and DJ Delay from 'The Good, The Bad and the Balkan.'

Raquy Danziger is one of the most popular performers, teachers and composers of Middle Eastern Drumming today. Audiences worldwide are not only surprised by this young woman from America, but captivated by her virtuosity, profound musicality and the passion she brings to performances. Her varied repertoire includes traditional Middle Eastern music as well as her own compositions. For the past few years, Raquy has been going to Egypt to teach and perform, where she has collaborated with some of the most famous musicians, including Said El-Artist and Hamish Henkish, she has appeared on regional TV including Al-Jazeera Channel and National Egyptian Television and was interviewed by numerous magazines. She always keeps a blog of her adventures - Read the Blog Here! A classically trained pianist, Raquy first discovered hand drumming during her travels in Varanase, India where she immersed herself in the study of Indian rhythmic cycles. Later, in Israel, Raquy was drawn to the dumbek (otherwise known as tabla) and the groove of Middle Eastern music. In the last few years, Raquy has found her own voice as a soloist, group leader and composer. She writes compositions for ensembles comprised of her students as well as master players from the Middle East. She also formed Raquy and the Cavemen, a group in which she also plays the Iranian kemenche, a rare and exotic bowed instrument. Raquy’s infectious enthusiasm for Middle Eastern music has made her one of the most sought after teachers of Middle Eastern drumming in NYC. An inspiration to scores of students locally and hundreds more at drumming camps and retreats around the country, Raquy is single–handedly responsible for the wave of “Dumbek Fever” sweeping the metropolitan area. Raquy has released 2 Dumbek Instructional Kits - "Dumbek Fever I" (Beginner/Intermediate) and "Dumbek Fever II" (Advanced) - which include a book, a DVD and a CD that's selling all over the world. She also released 5 albums: "Mischief" (2008), "Naked" (2007), “Jordan” (2005), “Dust” (2003) and “Masmudi” (2001). “Dust” has reached the top 20 on the CMJ world chart and "Jordan" debuted at the top 30.

мастер перкуссионист Сирийского происхожденя. Файзал Зедан (Faisal Zedan) играет на Рик (тамбурине( Riqq, tambourine)), Дарбуке (also Tabla—goblet drum), и Таре (Tar (frame drum)) с одинаковым мастерством, одновременно сочетая виртуозную технику, мощь  и уверенность звучания с утонченностью исполнения.
Файзал Зедан Родился в 1972 в Д'Баиб в Сирии(oum D'Baib, Syria).

В 1992 году приехал в Калифорнию, где познакомится с профессором этнической музыки доктором Али Джихад Раси ( Dr. Ali Jihad Racy), и присоединяется к Ближн6евосточному Музыкальному  Ансамблю (UCLA Near East Music Ensemble). IВ 1993 Фазал участвует в создании ближневосточного музыкального коллектива Кан Заман (Kan Zaman).

Совместно с Донованом Лерманом (Donovan Lerman), Фазал создает в Лос-Анджелесе перкуссионную группу Юм ит Талаата (Youm It Talaata percussion group), организовывает фестивали ближневосточной культуры, и сольные проекты. С 1996 года Файзал преподает в Ближневосточном Музыкальном Лагере в Мендоцино, Калифорния (Middle East Music Camp in Mendocino, California).

Born into a family of musicians in Istanbul, Hakan Kaya was introduced to Turkish Folk Music through the bağlama (saz) as a youth. This early exposure to music served as a catalyst to Hakan's subsequent curiosity towards the rhythms found at the heart of the rich, multi-cultural Anatolian Folk Music tradition. In learning the bendir and darbuka, he began his persistent exploration of this music from the perspective of a percussionist. At age 17, Hakan's love of Eastern rhythms, took him as far as Varanasi, India.

At Varanasi University's world-renowned center for musical exploration, Hakan received tabla instruction from the famous master Ran Kumar Mishra. Under such musical and spiritual influence, Hakan was met with the unique opportunity to investigate and synthesize two complementary cultures' musical perspectives and techniques.

Upon his return to Istanbul seven months later, Hakan began exhibiting his talent alongside such prominent musicians as Aynur Doğan (in Iraq), Cavit Murtezaoğlu (in Iran), Adile Yardığı, Cem Yildiz, and the Orient Expressions.

FABRICA, the United Colors of Benetton's communication research foundation, invited Hakan as Turkey's representative in launching an international multimedia musical theater production. In accordance with its Latin name, the 'Credo' (belief) project brought together musicians of diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds from North America, Europe, and the Middle East. Under the direction of American musician David Moss, the 'Credo' project's artists came together in Italy in preparation for their gala performance at Aya Irini in Istanbul. Hakan's participation in 'Credo' continues, with upcoming concerts to be announced.

In addition to his current projects with Istanbul based group Native Project, Hakan is also a co-founder and co-director of Sound Fabrika Studios.
